Hollow
Candles
Hollow Candles are made with 100% cotton, and a
mixture of wax. They are shaped like a
tapered candle. They measure in three
diameters: Large ¾”, Medium ½” and Small
3/8”. The length is approximately 10 ½ “
long. The wax used in the candles is
one of the following mixtures: 1) Paraffin with Beeswax, 2) 90% Beeswax with 10% Paraffin, or 3) 90% Bayberry Plant Wax with 10% Beeswax. Essential Oils of herbs may be added to
candles. The following herbs are available:
Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, or Peppermint.

Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is a healing method in which pure, undiluted aromatic
substances called essential oils are selected, blended and used for the relief
of specific conditions. These essential
oils are absorbed through the skin to help alleviate the most common
ailments. The following blends and
individual essential oils are offered to add to the benefit of hollow candling
treatments.
Essential Oils may be used therapeutically in the
following ways:
Baths: Fill bath with water first. Temperature should not exceed 102 degrees
F. Add 5-7 drops of the selected oil and
soak for 10-15 minutes. For children 12 years
of age and under, use 4 drops of the selected essential oil. For infants, only 1-2 drops should be used.
Inhalations: Put 2 drops on a tissue or handkerchief and
take a deep breath. For maximum benefit,
put 1 drop of the selected oil on your pillow at bedtime. Aids insomnia.
Vaporization: Essential oils can be used to fragrance a
room, act as an airborne antiseptic or to produce a refreshing and stimulating
atmosphere. They can also be used to
remove unpleasant odors or to create relaxing ambiance. Add 15-20 drops in a diffuser or add 6-10
drops to a ceramic saucer filled with water and place it on a fragrance burner,
or place 1-2 drops on a light bulb ring.
Ear Candling:
Drop 1-2 drops of Essential Oil inside candle before burning. Use the Immune and Respiratory Formulas
around the outside of the ear during Ear Candling Massage.
Essential oils are very
potent and only a small amount is required to bring about the desired
effect. "Less is Best."
Precautions:
Essential Oils should never be applied directly onto the skin in their
pure form. Do not take them
internally. Avoid contact with the
eyes. Keep out of the reach of
children. Always keep bottles
capped: essential oils are very volatile.
During Pregnancy: avoid Basil, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Clary Sage,
High Blood Pressure: avoid Hyssop, Rosemary, Sage, Thyme ct thymol and cravacol,
Eucalyptus ct Globulus and Radiata.
Epileptic:
avoid Fennel, Hyssop, Eucalyptus ct Globulus and Radiata
Safe,
homeopathic treatments are not compatible with the following: Eucalyptus,
Peppermint, Spearmint, Black Pepper and Camphor. Do not store these essential oils with
homeopathic products.
